I lost my original remote. I went to the Veito website to find one to purchase and couldn't find anything. Called the number on the website. The woman I spoke with was lovely and informed me that I could indeed buy a new remote and tried walking me through the steps. Only I wasn't on the right website. I needed to go to the Redfern site, which I did and quickly found what I needed. She helped choose the correct remote since they had changed from my original. My remote arrived without instructions, which apparently I need because the buttons on the remote don't do what they would intuitively do. I need to press the up arrow button to turn it on. I have to push the + arrow to lower the level. At least the on/off button turns it off, but not on. In thought, the button with the clock would set the timer to turn off after a designated time, but it doesn't. It just stays on. I have no idea what the down arrow and minus button do because a strange code comes up. While I love my heater, the remote and website/non-website are confusing.
