Prior to any use of the Alan key, try to center the belt manually.  If you notice that the belt has shifted, which may happen simply due to your tread when walking, unfold the treadmill to 45 degrees above the ground to create slack and shift the belt at the front and back to center it.

While holding the belt at the front in the center position, fold the back end of the belt back out flat.

The next step would be to call your customer service person at Redfern Enterprises prior to any use of the Alan Key.

The Alan key is intended for MINOR adjustments ONLY.  A quarter turn at a time is all that should be attempted to make a correction.  When there is too much pressure on one side of the belt and not enough on the other, the belt will shift to the side that may be too loose.

Think of a tube of toothpaste.  When you put pressure on one end, the paste comes out the other end.  It is the same with the belt.

Always remember when standing at the back of the treadmill facing it: righty tighty (clockwise), lefty loosey (counter clockwise)

If too many turns of the key are used, the factory tension can be difficult to get back to.  EXTREME caution is needed when using the Alan key.

The following parts should be included with your purchase: power cord, remote control, remote lanyard, Alan key, red safe lock key, silicone oil and the user manual.

It shows as a device, not as your specific treadmill.

This is a six step process:

  1. Download KS Fit app.
  2. Enter cell # (change country from China to Canada), click register, register
  3. Confirm via the email sent to you for registration
  4. Turn treadmill on
  5. Add device R1PRO
  6. Step on the treadmill, press start on your phone, belt will start to move.

No, apply gentle pressure on the back of the belt.  It should fall into place.  Tension on the belt is necessary to keep it tight while in use.  There may be some squeaking while it is pushed down but that is normal.

It is not recommended to use the Alan key as it is very easy to take the belt out of the factory tension setting and can be difficult to reverse.

Insert the Red Safety Key to the guard rail to unlock the belt.  The safety key should be pinned to your clothing while the treadmill is in use. It is a safety measure to shut down the treadmill should you lose your footing.

When using it for the first time in walking mode, the maximum speed is 3km/hr.

The maximum speed will be 6 km/hr after completing the novice level in the App.  The second way is walking or running on the treadmill for 1km to unlock the speed limit.

The remote needs to be paired with the treadmill before it will function.

It is sometimes necessary to press and hold the MODE (button with the arrows on it) button while moving the AC power switch from the OFF position to the ON position. When doing so the main display will show a line then beep.  It may go blank and then the POWER button will flash on the display (correctly paired).  The M should be lit on the display.  Now press the middle button (function) on the remote to see the display counting down 3-2-1-GO.  The belt should start to move.

The remote will require repairing each time the battery is changed.

The remote uses Bluetooth connectivity, so simply ensure your treadmill is turned off after each use.

To add lubrication, simply fold the treadmill to 45 degrees and put a line or two of lubrication across the 'plate' from left to right (or right to left).  It should be placed in the stride area.  Leave an inch or two on both sides so that excess lubrication doesn’t drip down onto your floor.

Put the treadmill back down and run in CALI mode for a minute or so.

This can be purchased at any hardware store.  It is called treadmill lubrication.

No, it comes pre-lubricated from the factory, but it is recommended to apply lubrication again within the first month and then every three months thereafter.  It may be required more often if used daily.  You may detect a rubbing or squeaking noise, which may indicate you haven’t used enough lubrication.

This starts the belt moving to help with disbursing the lubrication after it is applied to the plate under the belt.  It can run for a minute in this mode to allow enough time.

Press and hold + and MODE buttons on remote control simultaneously until 3-2-1-GO flashes.  Then CALI will be displayed and the machine will start at 1.0 km/hr in Calibration mode.

Do not walk or run on the treadmill whilst in calibration mode.
